Are you struggling?

This life is full of peaks and valleys, and sometimes just when we are starting to get comfortable enjoying the views of the mountaintops all of a sudden the bottom falls out and we find ourselves scrambling and just trying to grab a hold of something to stop our fall.  At other times, we are in the valley and cannot see the sun.  We feel like we are doomed and that there is nothing that can be done.
I want you to know that it doesn't matter where you find yourself this morning, God is right there with you.  He knows what lies behind and more importantly He knows what lies ahead.  Where is your trust this morning?  Is it in your efforts, in someone else you love, or is it in the God who nothing is too hard for?  (Jeremiah 32:17)
Trust Him He knows your struggle!  He also knows your beginning and end....and He has a plan for you that is for YOUR good...(Jeremiah 29:11)
God Bless you all,
Bro. Tim

Are you ready?

Franklin Graham says society, not Trump, is why ‘Doomsday clock’ moved ahead

According to a group of scientists, the “Doomsday Clock" has moved 30 seconds closer to midnight! What are they blaming? President Donald J. Trump’s comments on nuclear weapons and climate change. Wow.  If you want to look for a real sign of the end of time as we know it, here’s something God’s Word says you can look for: “in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power” (2 Tim. 3:1-5). That sounds eerily familiar doesn’t it? It describes so much of our society today. I agree with the clock on one thing—I believe our time is short. But it will only be “Doomsday” for those who haven’t accepted God’s gift of salvation through faith in His Son Jesus Christ. Your eternity can be secure with Him. Are you ready?

Where are your teasures layed up?

Matthew 6:19-21 tells us to not lay up our treasures upon earth, but we sure do focus a whole lot more of our lives on the temporary rather than the eternal.  Why is that?  Why are we more worried about today than eternity?  Isn't that a lack of faith to trust God for our eternity, but not for our everyday?  In order for us to be the Christians that God wants us to be, if we truly want to make a difference in this world, we have to focus more on the eternal and less on the here and now....I know it is not easy

Saved!

When is your birthday?  According to all my records officially Tim Harper was born at 4:30 pm on December 12, 1968.  However, I want you to know that the only birthday that really matters is June 6, 1984.  That is the day Tim Harper was born again, I accepted Jesus as my Savior.... In John 3:3, Jesus said, "except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of Heaven".  Can you see Heaven?

God bless you all...

Bro. Tim

God's gift

Christmas is a holiday dedicated to the giving and receiving of gifts.  I love it when people take the time to try and find the perfect gift to try and show someone they are loved and cherished.  Romans 6:23 teaches us that God gave us his Son as a gift to redeem mankind from the penalty of sin.  Hebrews 2:23 tells us how shall we escape death's penalty if we neglect so great a salvation!  Please accept God's gift of His Son this Christmas before it's everlasting too late!
