Change Happens

The saying in Arkansas is if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes and it will change.  That is the truth, change happens and nothing stays the same... Well almost nothing, God's Word never changes.  Hebrews teaches us that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever!  He will always be holy, he will always love us, and he will always forgive.  Have you asked him?

Happy Thanksgiving!

God is Love

As I sit here in Little Rock thinking about all the events of the past week, I'm amazed at what all God can do.  He can take a sinner and wash him whiter than snow.  He can make us all better than new.  He will forgive when we can't forgive ourselves.  Why is that you might say?  Why does He love us?  He doesn't love us because we're good, He loves us because He's God!

God bless you all!

Are you living for Jesus?

God is so good to us, even though we don't deserve it.  He loves us even though we are unlovable.  He forgives us when no one else will.  He provides our every need.  He protects us, and all He asks is that we try and live for Him.  That we let others see Jesus living in us.  John Barrett talked about a man he knew that everytime you would see him he would always ask, are you living for Jesus?  Are we?

God bless you all.

Live a life that points others to Christ...

Hebrews 12 teaches that we are "ALL" surrounded by such a cloud of witnesses...I wonder sometimes what other people see when they see me... It really is scary to think about.  After all Jesus did for me, I ought to live a life that points others to Christ... Do you?  It's such an important job, and God chose you to do it... You see you have different witnesses than me, and I have different witnesses than you.  Let's encourage one another to be the witnesses He has called us to be!

God bless you all,

Bro. Tim

Why is it so hard for us to slow down sometimes?

Why is it so hard for us to slow down sometimes?  What's harder than slowing down sometimes is realizing that we need to turn around and go another direction... That's what it means to repent, to realize we've made a bad decision.  To realize we need to change directions, maybe we are off course... On our own it's hard, but if we'll ask He will give us the strength to do hard things!

God bless you all,

Bro. Tim
