Are you to busy?

I don't know about you, but it looks like to me that the world we live in now is busier than it has ever been.  The question that comes to my mind is are we busy doing the things of God or things of man?  You see we create our own "busy". We will find ourselves so busy that we accomplish nothing of significance.  God wants us to be significant.  He wants us to be a footnote in others salvation.  He wants us to be faithful, loving companions to our spouses.  He desires for us to raise our children up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.  He then has a plan that is for our good, whether it be in this life or the next I don't know, all I can say is it is for our good.

As the philosopher Goethe put it, ‘Things which matter most must never be at the mercy of things which matter least.

You can tell people’s priorities by how they spend their time.

I think the saddest thing in the world would be to reach old age and look back at my life and feel nothing but regret about what I did or did not do. Wisdom helps us make choices now that we will be happy with later.’
Love you all,

Bro. Tim

Team Work

Team....I never really thought about it, but that is exactly what OUR church is.  Thank you to each and everyone of you who stood in the gap this week to help someone else from a funeral, to emergency room visits, to doctor's office trips to Ft. Smith, to frying fish and hush puppies.... You name it and this church did it, and what's most important is you did it out of love for the Lord and each other.

I love you guys!

Are you living your life to be a blessing?

I'm so glad to be worshipping with you all here this morning!  We serve a loving Savior who is ALWAYS good!  He loves us with an unconditional love, we just need to remember:

Psalm 100:4 King James Version (KJV)

4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Are you living your life to be a blessing?  When others see you do they see Jesus?

Love you all,

Bro. Tim

Because Your loving kindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.

So will I bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.

PSALM 63:3-4 AMP

What a beautiful life God has given us... We need to thank God for the little things in life, we never really know how much we need, or love something until it's gone.  Our families, our church, our friends, our health, our jobs, the list could go on and on... Will you praise Him with us this morning?

God bless you all!

Bro. Tim

Thank You

Bro. Steven and Ronald do a great job with our church sign of changing it out and always keeping something relevant on there.  This week they have something on there about fall.  I got to thinking how thankful I was for them doing that, and realized that in life it's the little things that make the biggest differences, and it's the little things unfortunately that so many times go unnoticed.  Saying thank you, and recognizing people for what they do to let their light shine for Jesus.  I want to say thank you this morning to all of our Sunday School teachers and Sunday night and Wednesday night teachers.  It is the teaching of God's Word that makes people wise to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!  I want to say thank you to ALL of our musicians in the church.  Sister Kathy and Sister Joan do a fantastic job and I for one just want to say thank you.  We couldn't do it without you!  The Mauks, Sister Jennifer McCauley on the sound system.  Bro. Eddie and Bro. Jerry for ALL you do.  Sister Christy on the bulletins, thank you!  Bro. Chris as our church treasurer, thank you.  Nursery workers...thank you!  How about Sis. Alyssa and children's church...thank you!  The list could go on and on! How about our choir?  They are faithful to get up and help lead us in worship each and every service.

You know we don't have to wait to Thanksgiving to say thank you to God, and we don't need to wait to say thank you to our brothers and sisters in Christ either.

Thank you,

Bro. Tim
