What good is a diluted believer?

Are you a change agent?  Or do you go with the flow?  Are you Light or dark?  There is no such thing as a shady Christian... Your either in or your out...What good is a halfhearted Christian? What good is a diluted believer? What good is a decaf disciple?” The answer is, not much. Disciples of Jesus must impact their culture.

(Matt.5:13)

Love God Love People,

God loves you!

Have you ever stopped to realize that God loves us so much that He chooses to treat us as though we have lived the life Jesus lived, and treated His only begotten Son the way we as sinners deserved to be treated.  That is a true picture of God's Amazing Grace!  God's riches at Christ's expense.  Romans 5:8 will always be one of my favorite verses: "But God commendeth His love towards us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us."  We have the privilege today to take the Lord's Supper....communion.  Call it what you will, but ALWAYS remember the price that was paid so that we might have FELLOWSHIP with God.

Love you all,

Bro. Tim

I will praise you in the storm

What an awesome God we serve!

This week has been one of many ups and downs for our church family.  We have had several members from our youngest to eldest in the hospital very sick.  We just like the disciples in Mark 4:37, sometimes can experience unexpected storms.  Storms that pop up out of nowhere and rock us at our very core.  We are fearful and worried.  Sometimes, God allows us to go through the storm for a while, when at other times He takes care of it immediately.  The disciples were upset that "he slept"  yet we see that when our God, our Savior speaks even the winds and seas obey His voice.  Have you called upon our God today?  Are you experiencing a storm that may seem insurmountable?  Call on the name of our amazing God!

Love you all,

Bro. Tim

What a wonderful Savior we have!

As we begin to approach Resurrection Sunday, I pray we never lose sight of the awful cost of our salvation.  The consequence of our sin, the penalty of sin ALL nailed to the cross because of His great love for us!  We did not earn it, we could not deserve it, we only have it because of His amazing grace!  What a wonderful Savior we have.  I pray He is your Savior today, and if He is not.  I pray that you will heed the call of the Holy Spirit and accept Jesus today!

God bless you for being here with us!

Love you all,

Bro. Tim

"I Ain't as Good as I Once Was"

Country singer Toby Keith has an old song titled, "I Ain't as Good as I Once Was".  I found that out the hard way this week working out with my players a little bit.  Emphasis on little bit...physically we are born to die.  As we age our bodies begin to slow down, we find out that things we used to could do no problem are now seemingly impossible.  Isn't that SO sad?

Well, let me tell you something that is SO awesome!  When we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior we do just the opposite.  Things that used to seem impossible get easier and easier, like learning how to say no to things that used to tempt us...Hallelujah!  Instead of dying, we are born again only to live forever!  Isn't God good?

Toby Keith may have it right in this old world, but in Heaven I'm going to be so much better...How bout you?

Love you all,

Bro. Tim
