Sometimes we get so consumed in our own lives that we get to feeling sorry for ourselves, and cannot or do not take time to help someone else that is hurting or in need.  We don't pray for them, we don't encourage them, we just worry about ourselves.  I want you to know that God is not glorified at all in this type of behavior.  He wants us to love one another, to care for one another, to lift one another up in prayer.  In the book of James it teaches us that "the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."  Are you praying for someone else?  If not, why not?

Here we are two weeks away from our revival! This is a time we have set aside to refresh, renew our walk with the Lord.  I'm excited to see whatever it is that the Lord has in store for us!  Please be in prayer for Bro. Kitchens that the Lord would use him in a mighty way right here in Mena, AR.  If you are visiting with us today, we hope you'll make yourself right at home.

Love you all,

Bro. Tim

Are you Thirsty?

I just want to say thank you to the church for allowing me to go on vacation, and how much I appreciate Bro. Anthony Kennedy for filling in for me, as well as Bro. Townsley for teaching my Wednesday night class.  We had a great time, and our so excited about our upcoming revival.  I want to encourage each of you to try and have the heart and eyes of Jesus over the next few weeks.  Let's try and look at others the way Jesus would. The Bible teaches us that he would go out of His way to show love and compassion to someone.  I always think of the woman at the well, someone in Mena, Arkansas right now is thirsty will you lead them to the well?  The one with everlasting water....Jesus?  The only way you, or I can do it is with the heart and eyes of Jesus.  Let's look to love others intentionally so that the might come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!

Good Morning and thank you for worshiping with us here at Faith this morning.  We are a friendly little country church that loves the Lord.  We love Him because he first loved us, even though we didn't deserve it.  We cannot wait till we deserve the Lord to serve Him or we never will.  He wants us to come to Him just as we are.  I pray today that if anyone here doesn't know the Lord that you will trust Him today!  It will be the best decision you have ever made.

God bless you all,

Bro. Tim

Thank You

As we remember all the men and women who have paid the highest price for our freedom, they have all.  John 15:13 teaches us that there is no greater love than that, for someone to give their life for their friends.  We need to remember ALL of them.  We also need to remember all the veterans who have served and sacrificed greatly for our freedom.  Thank you so much!

God bless you all.

Bro Tim
